Elisabet Bohlin

I am a teacher and researcher in forest ecology and management at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), with a particular interest in interdisciplinary research on the relationships between forest environments and human health. My work bridges ecological science, health promotion, and social sustainability.

In addition, I teach courses in forest ecology, botany, and the health-promoting effects of nature for students in outdoor environment and wellbeing programs, as well as future forest professionals. I am also engaged in science communication through the Nordic Nature Health Hub and research project websites, working to make scientific knowledge accessible to researcers, practitioners, policymakers, and the broader public.
