Senior Lecturer, Department of Clinical Sciences
Presentation
I am employed as a university senior lecturer specialized in udder diseases in dairy cows, with a focus on mastitis. This means I conduct research and teach on all aspects of udder health, primarily in dairy cows. My research covers various areas, ranging from mastitis vaccines to treatment studies for udder cleft dermatitis and the evaluation of AI models for the automated identification of mastitis-causing bacteria. As part of my teaching duties, I serve as the course leader for the subject of reproduction—after all, without reproduction, there is no lactation. In addition to research and teaching, I work as a clinical veterinarian at the Ambulatory Clinic (UDS) at SLU.
