Lisa Blix Germundsson

Lisa Blix Germundsson is a researcher and project manager with a focus on knowledge development and innovation in agriculture and horticulture. The research covers how different actors work together to develop new knowledge and innovation for a sustainable development.

Presentation

My doctoral thesis investigated the knowledge and innovation system of Swedish horticulture and how it can be developed to meet current and future challenges. Part of the doctoral studies was conducted within the NextFood project.

Research

Examples of current projects:

COREnet, on knowledge, advisory services and innovation for firms related to short food supply chains.

ARCADIA, on nature-based solutions in regions.

The bean to the plate, on domestic-grown legumes for food.

Teaching

I mainly teach and supervise students' theses in the agronomy bachelor's program (Lantmästare). I also contribute to the Master's courses 'Project management for innovation in sustainable food systems' and 'Product Development and Innovation Systems in Horticulture', as well as to the PhD course 'Ethics and Philosophy of Science'.

Advising/Supervision

I regularly supervise students' exam theses. Students who are interested in writing a thesis within knowledge development, innovation and/or multi-stakeholder collaboration are welcome to contact me. I am currently co-supervising two PhD students.
