Presentation
I started my PhD with focus on "Moose Foodscapes" at the Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre in 2023. I am combining various remote sensing based datasets with data from experiments, the National Forest Inventory of Sweden and GPS-telemetry based studies to understand patterns in abundance and damage of cervid forage.
Research
I am currently working on predicting cervid forage availabiliy using remote sensing datasets. Further, I have set up an experiment to test how to increase dwarfshrubs in young, spruce dominated forests. Lastly, I am working on space use of moose and test how individual movement decisions of moose might impact browsing damage in pine dominated stands.
Teaching
I am teaching Predation Ecology and Cause and Consequence of Ungulate Movements, as well as (co)-supervising several B.Sc. and M.Sc. students.
