PhD Student, Division of Forest Remote Sensing

Presentation

My academic background is in radio astronomy, and I am interested in applying techniques from that field in the domain of forest research.

Research

My current research focuses on the usage of interferometry and, more broadly, passive radio sensing for characterization of forests at scales down to the individual tree level. In particular, GNSS satellites have potential as an illumination source for a ground based sensors with both high coverage and good repeatability in observation angles.
