Petter Ideström

As a Research Engineer at the Division of Forest Remote Sensing, I provide technical and analytical support to various research projects. My work primarily focuses on LiDAR data processing and analysis at the single tree level. I am also involved in field data acquisition and instrument setup, working with several types of LiDAR sensors in different environments.

I bring a broad interdisciplinary background, holding a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics. Prior to my current role, I worked as a Scientific Programmer at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI).
