Josefina Jonsson, Ph.D., is a researcher in the group Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Sustainable Development.

Presentation

Her research focuses on organizational science, specifically on how people work together to create change and values. This involves applying the perspective of social acceleration, including its application to social media, to understand the role of our social and spatial contexts in entrepreneurship.

Teaching

Josefina is the course leader of:

  • FÖ0428: Marketing
  • FÖ0496: ​Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Development
  • FÖ0487: Organizational theory II: change and resiliance

Josefina also participates with teaching in Quality and Environmental Management, Method courses, and supervises bachelor and master theses. 

Participant in MOTT, an educational track in marketing and organization that was awarded SLU's pedagogical team prize in 2021.

Cooperation

In addition to her collaboration in research projects, Josefina is active in other collaborative initiatives, both within academia and in external networks.

  • Steering Group Member, SLU Urban Futures since March 2025.
  • Participated in SLU’s work on the Rural Policy Bill (during 2024).
  • Member of ISBE – Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
  • Steering Group Member for Digilo from August 2020 to February 2023. The project offered courses and business coaching for companies in Dalarna, Gävleborg, and Värmland, related to digitalization.

Supervision

Josefina is an co-supervisor for one doctoral student and provides guidance to bachelor's and master's students in their theses and projects.
