Presentation
I obtained my master's degree in chemistry with specialization in biochemistry in 2016. After graduating, I started my PhD studies where I investigated the evolution and binding mechanisms of intrinsically disordered proteins. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at SLU in the research group of Anna Rising.
Research
My research projects are focused on the production and characterization of spidroins and SpiCE proteins, which are the major protein components of native spider silk. The aim of my work is both to improve the understanding of native spider silk production and to use this knowledge to improve artificial silk production for various material applications.
