Presentation
I am interested in the application of next-generation sequencing technologies to improve genomic evaluations and understand complex traits in animal science through advanced data analysis.
Research
I am currently engaged in research on the genetic and epigenetic signatures underlying fertility in farmed Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus). My primary focus lies in the analysis of genomic data, with a particular interest in uncovering interactions between genotypes and a range of phenotypic traits. Beyond my core research, I actively contribute to collaborative projects and interdisciplinary initiatives. Below, you will find an overview of my academic background, ongoing research, publications, and other professional activities.
Research projects
- Principal Investigator in the FORMAS funded project under no. 2023-01292
Boosting the reproductive performance of Arctic charr using high-throughput sequencing technologies
- Principal Investigator in the Royal Swedish Agricultural Academy (KSLA) funded project no. VAT2021-0002
Project title: “Unraveling the genomic architecture of male fertility in farmed Arctic charr”
Cooperation
Ukrainian Aquaculture Assosiation - I am a co-founder of the Assosiation which gather aquaculture specialists, workers and amateurs who are interested in sustainable, energy saving and innovative fish farming
