Presentation

My bachelors degree is from Northern Michigan University where I majored in ecology. I took my master at Umeå University where I got into fish and wrote about the effects of northern pike on whitefish in inland lakes in Sweden and how it drives reproductive isolation between different whitefish ecotypes. After that I worked as a technician for a time working mainly with fish and molecular ecology until I got the opportunity to start as a PhD student and started working with golden eagles.

Research

I work with golden eagles in Scandinavia focusing on population ecology, and genetics. I am also investigating the golden eagle's interactions with infrastructure, and livestock.
