Presentation
My academic work integrates silvicultural research and teaching with a strong focus on sustainable forest management in boreal and temperate forests.
Research
As a forest scientist, I am driven by a keen interest in how silvicultural practices shape forest ecosystems over time. My work focuses on the dynamics of boreal and temperate forests under a range of silviculture systems, from rotation to continuous cover forestry. My projects span over forest regeneration, management, damage, and long-term growth and yield, combining field experiments, modelling, and data analysis.

I have experience in teaching and mentoring across all academic levels, from bachelor’s to doctoral students. I have led and contributed to 10 courses, including serving as course leader for the MSc and PhD In-depth Course in Forest Regeneration, and have supervised and co-supervised multiple bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD projects.
