Research
My research focuses on innovative water treatment solutions for the removal and destruction of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). I work with technologies including foam fractionation, electrochemical oxidation, phytoremediation, constructed wetlands, and membrane filtration, primarily within the LIFE SOuRCE and SIDWater projects. I also investigate the environmental fate and transport of PFAS, with a particular focus on their behavior in contaminated aquifers.
