Presentation
My research interests center around increasing the biodiversity and sustainability of agricultural systems through the inclusion of new plant species and functional groups. Additionally, I coordinate the ecosystem monitoring activities within the SITES infrastructure at Röbäcksdalen and assist researchers in developing their own research projects at the field station.
Research
My research focuses on the diversification of grassland agricultural systems in northern Sweden. By assessing more diverse ley mixtures, I aim to identify practical solutions for farmers to improve the sustainability of ley production while balancing their forage production goals. In my current research projects, we focus on underutilized and novel forage species that have potential to improve the persistence and resilience of leys, while also providing ecosystem services to the surrounding landscape. I am interested in connecting with other researchers with expertise in assessing the whole system perspective of agricultural ecosystems.

Environment analysis
I manage SITES (Swedish Infrastructure for Ecosystem Science) at Röbäcksdalen Field Research Station. SITES is a nationally coordinated infrastructure for terrestrial and limnological field research. The collaborating research stations provide access to facilities and openly available data on environmental monitoring. SITES Röbäcksdalen represents an agricultural landscape where animals are included (e.g. manure, leys, pasture). We provide long-term data on environmental parameters in the context of agricultural systems and offer good possibilities for studies on sustainability, effects of climate change and agroecology in farming systems containing animals.
