Presentation
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Plant Biology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), where I work on virus yellows in sugar beet. I hold a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Forestry Phytopathology and Plant Protection from the Czech University of Life Sciences (CZU) in Prague and an M.Sc. in Sustainable Agriculture from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (Maich), Greece. Before joining SLU, I worked at the Czech Agrifood Research Center (CARC) and completed research stays in Germany at DLR Rheinpfalz and the Leibniz Institute DSMZ, focusing on plant virus diagnostics and molecular virology.
Research
My research is grounded in plant virology, molecular diagnostics, and bioinformatics, with a particular focus on virus diversity, evolution, and host interactions.
