Presentation

I am a postdoctoral researcher specialising in the chemical communication and behaviour of honey bees, with a focus on resistance to Varroa destructor. My research explores how chemical compound emissions vary between resistant and susceptible colonies, and how these compounds shape individual and collective behaviours. I am also fascinated by the neural processing of olfactory signals and the broader mechanisms of social immunity.
