Presentation
I have been a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Southern Swedish Forest Research since 1989. I am currently the course leader for a silviculture course within the Forest and Landscape bachelor programme. In addition, I serve as the programme director for the research programme Trees For Me.
Research
I am the programme director of the research programme Trees For Me, which aims to promote the increased use of fast-growing broadleaved tree species in Swedish forestry. I also serve as the coordinator for the Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre’s contribution to the strategic research programme T4F.
The most rewarding aspect of my research career has been supervising doctoral students. I have supervised PhD candidates working on topics such as forest regeneration, stand management, and modelling.

Teaching
I am the course coordinator for a silviculture course within the Bachelor’s programme Forest and Landscape. The course is offered during the fifth semester and serves as a continuation of the introductory silviculture course given in the second semester. I also contribute to teaching on several other courses at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral levels.
