I am a Researcher in Remote Sensing applied to crops at the Department of Crop Production Ecology. My aim is to develop applied science using my expertise in geosciences and remote sensing, as well as crop systems and modelling.

Presentation

I am an researcher in remote sensing applied to crops, especially forage crops. My research integrates expertise in geosciences, remote sensing and modelling to advance applied science that supports farmers and stakeholders in making informed decisions. My goal is to enhance understanding of spatial and temporal variations in crop growth conditions and their impacts on management practices.

Research

Actively involved in research activities to develop methodologies to use various satellite, drone and handheld sensor-derived information to monitor and assess spatio-temporal variations in crop systems. Supervisor of postdoctoral researchers and a co-supervisor for PhD students, focusing on remote sensing and modelling approaches for managing crops.

Involved in the design, reference data collections and methodology development of models to assess forage ley crops using remote sensing data.

Principal Investigator of several applied research projects in collaboration with industrial and international partners.
