Presentation
I am a PhD-student in Biomedical Sciences at the Department of Animal Biosciences, with a background as an agronomist and biologist. My PhD-project aims to reduce the risk of African swine fever (ASF) transmission to wild boar and domestic pigs via food waste. The project focuses on identifying transmission pathways and critical points within Sweden’s waste management system where wild boar may come into contact with contaminated meat waste. Key components of the project include survey and interview studies, camera-based wildlife monitoring, and risk modelling.
