Presentation
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Anaerobic Microbiology and Biotechnology group, working on research questions related to biogas production. My PhD project was carried out within the same research group and focused on operational challenges in high-solid anaerobic digestion. In my current postdoctoral project, I primarily work with the analysis of data from industrial biogas plants. The focus is on evaluating process data and microbial populations during process disturbances. The work aims to improve understanding of the relationships between microbial community composition and process behaviour, as well as to contribute to the development of methods for early detection of instability in biogas processes.
Research
Ongoing research projects include:
- Development of methods to predict process disturbances in industrial biogas processes through analysis of process data and microbial populations
- “Key parameters” – compilation and analysis of data from Swedish farm-scale biogas plants
- Analysis of microbial community composition and metatranscriptomics in laboratory-scale biogas reactors
