Research

In my research I have a great interest in how remote sensing sensors can be used to extract forest properties, both above and below ground. I lead research in SLU related to microwaves, both with active sensors (e.g. radars) and passive sensors (e.g. GNSS receivers). I also work with LiDAR and optical remote sensing projects from various platforms, e.g. satellites, airplanes, drones and from the ground level.

Teaching

I am responsible for the Physics 1 and Physics 2 courses in the Foundation Year in Natural Sciences that prepares students for the Forest education. I have also taught parts of a remote sensing course at the master level, mainly the sections related to microwave remote sensing.
