Presentation

My background is in Chemical Engineering, and I hold a PhD in "Sustainable Development and Climate Change" from IUSS Pavia and Politecnico di Torino, Italy. My doctoral research focused on biochar production, modification, and applications for agricultural, environmental, and energy purposes. I have extensive experience in thermochemical conversion processes, including pyrolysis, torrefaction, hydrothermal carbonization, gasification, and catalytic pyrolysis, with particular expertise in biochar and activated carbon. My research vision is to develop circular, carbon-based solutions that address global challenges in clean water, energy, and climate change
