Wilmer Prentius

Presentation
Wilmer works as a researcher in mathematical statistics, with a special interest in sampling. His work contributes to the methodology behind the environmental monitoring programs governed by SLU. He is also the maintainer and author of some statistical software packages, many of them released under the Envisim umbrella.
In addition to performing research, Wilmer teaches on courses in statistics. As a consultant, he supports other researchers through SLUs Centre for Statistics.
Outside of academia, he has an interest in football. Having had an injury ridden career himself, his suffering on the side-lines has worsened by the performances of his favorite team Manchester United.
