Presentation
My research focuses on the politics of natural resources and Indigenous/Sámi rights in the North. I combine socio-legal analysis, conflict theory and agonistic perspectives on dialogue to understand the intersection between macro-level regulations, everyday land use planning/permitting practices and conflict dynamics. Through the concepts of legitimacy and justice, my work is connected to the broader debates on land governance, just transitions and the constructive role of conflict in social change.
