My research and teaching focus on statistics with applications in genetics, animal science and ecology, at the Department of Animal Biosciences, SLU.
Presentation
I completed my PhD in 2003 at SLU, with the thesis "Selection, maternal effects and inbreeding in reindeer husbandry". In 2012, I was appointed professor of statistics at Dalarna University
Today, I am a researcher at SLU, supervising doctoral students and teaching doctoral courses.
Research
My current research includes studies of social interactions in dairy cows and how they affect disease transmission, how climate change affects the weight of reindeer calves, and how climate change affects the survival of reindeer calves.
