Amanda de Castro Segtowich
Postdoctoral researcher, Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre
I am a postdoctoral researcher, working with silviculture, forest management and ecophysiology.
Presentation
The overall aim of my PhD project was to create knowledge for improved thinning guidelines and increase our understading, among other topics, on how thinning can be done to better meet the consequences of climate change and extreme weather events e.g. drought, at least in the short-term.
Research
My research is focused on understanding the tree growth and stand development in response to silvicultural practices and climate change, particularly in drier conditions.
