PhD student, Division of Environmental Organic Chemistry and Ecotoxicology
I am a PhD Student with a background in Analytical chemistry. Currently working at the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment (IVM), Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), in Uppsala.

Presentation

My Research is focused on:

- Developing long term Biochar remediation strategies for reclaimed water

- Investigating Organic MicroPollutants (OMPs) breakdown during biochar regeneration

- Predicting OMP behaviour using Machine Learning tools

- Evaluation of OMPs in several different matrices, including Biota, Landfill Leachate and Wastewater

Research

I'm currently working with several projects including:

  • BioKolfilter: The focus of this project is to create biochar filters for the remediation of reclaimed water. Testing the longevity and regeneration strategies of biochar.
  • MECROPLAN: The focus of this project lies on identification and mapping of Micropollutants in Landfills
