Fredrik Schlyter
Professor emeritus, Department of Plant Protection Biology
As an emeritus, I continue to teach and provide co-supervision. Most of my time is spent on referee work and finishing papers for publication.
Presentation
My primary interest is in insect-plant relations, specifically how insects locate the best plants by utilising host plant kairomones and non-host plant volatiles in mixed (i.e., natural) habitats.
Applications in forestry include bark beetle snifferdogs.
