My research addresses questions in ecology, evolution, and infectious disease ecology, combining empirical perspectives, theoretical ecology, and mathematical modelling with a focus on understanding processes and mechanisms.
Presentation
I am a researcher at the Department of Wildlife, Fish and Environmental Studies at SLU in Umeå and also work part-time at the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health at Umeå University. I received my PhD in Ecology from Umeå University in 2014 and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and later at Lund University. Since 2019, I have worked as a researcher and research group leader at Umeå University, and since 2025 my primary research activities have been based at SLU.
