Karen Schellhase

As a research and course assistant, I get to engage with a diverse range of issues concerning environmental and sustainability communication. Together with my colleagues, I  organise and conceptualise the courses for our master's programme "Environmental Communication and Management", as well as gain experience leading some of the course activities myself. I am further involved in various Mistra Environmental Communication research projects, as well as in the organisation of events such as conferences. 

Mistra Environmental Communication is an eight-year research programme dedicated to investigating how communication shapes sustainability transformations. Our work is critical and change-oriented: we advance a scientifically grounded understanding of how communication practices can contribute to efforts towards a sustainable future. The programme is a close collaboration between researchers from diverse disciplines, authorities, civil society organisations, and companies.
