I am a molecular breeder of Cereal. My previous research focused on barley molecular genetics, particularly mapping quantitative trait loci for key agronomic traits (2001- Aug 2010 Japan).
My current work centers on breeding climate-resilient crops, with an emphasis on perennial cereals including intermediate wheatgrass, perennial barley and Rye through direct and indirect domestication approaches (2010 Aug - at present SLU).
