Department of Forest Ecology and Management, joint staff
I am a postdoctoral researcher investigating the role of continuous cover forestry (CCF) in carbon sequestration in boreal forests.

Presentation

As a postdoctoral researcher at SLU, I am studying how CCF can help with carbon sequestration. Before joining at SLU, I worked as a postdoc at the Andong National University (ANU) in South Korea. At ANU, I worked on the plant ecology and management of invasive species. I obtained my doctoral degree in Biology from the University of Eastern Finland in December 2021. In my docroral research, I studied the effects of various abiotic and biotic factors on the growth and defense traits of European aspen.

Research

My research interests include plant ecology, forest ecology and management, restoration ecology, and environmental change.
