Prior to SLU, I worked as a forest economist and instructor at the University of Montana, USA. I have also served as an economist at the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, and as a forester at the US Forest Service and the US Bureau of Land Management.

I earned a BS in Forestry (University of Montana) and an MS in Forest Economics (Virginia Tech).

Research

I am currently working on a FORMAS-funded project identifying barriers to adoption and success within a Swedish Forest Biodiversity Credit (FBC) program for production landowners.
