Presentation

My research is focused on developing dynamic soil moisture maps that reflect weather changes in real time, using data-driven approaches. I create high-resolution maps and models that predict soil moisture across space and time by combining environmental variables calculated from airborne laser scans with weather data from satellites, together with machine-learning methods. The maps serve as decision support during planning and harvesting to minimize rutting damage and environmental impact from forestry operations.
