Presentation
I work as a researcher at the Swedish Biodiversity Center (CBM) at SLU, in research projects on biodiversity and restoration. My area of expertise is biodiversity analysis using molecular biology, DNA sequencing and bioinformatic analysis of environmental DNA (eDNA) samples, specifically from soil. I have been part of several projects funded by the Swedish Transport Administration and Swedish Board of Agriculture where I have developed technology for eDNA analysis and among other things have developed several genetic markers for detecting invasive alien plants (IAP) in soil. My home institution, CBM, is a centre for research and communication on conservation and restoration and we conduct policy-relevant research on biodiversity and social development and provide information to authorities and other stakeholders.
