Presentation
I am an ecologist with a broad interest in interdisciplinary research in biodiversity conservation, the role of biodiversity for ecosystem functioning and the impacts of human activities. Currently, I am working within the European project IMPRESS on the resilience of natural pest control to climate change and agricultural management. Over the years, I have worked in temperate and tropical systems, agricultural and near-natural landscapes, pollination and natural pest control, and on various insect taxa and their traits. I have, however, a special love for pollinators and the landscapes of tropical Africa.
