Elisa Vilvert

I am pursuing a PhD in the Plant disease epidemiology research group at SLU, Uppsala. My research project aims to determine the presence and spread of fungicide resistance in Phytophthora infestans in Sweden, to investigate the mechanisms and processes that drive pathogen adaptation and co-evolution, and how the underlying factors influence the potential for adaptation.

I’m an agronomist with a Masters in Plant Genetic Resources from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
