Presentation
I am a forester with an interest in forest dynamics and the role of fire in ecosystem management. Currently, I am a PhD student at the Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre, working on the EkBrand project.
Research
My research focuses on modeling fire behavior in oak and oak–pine forests, with the aim of identifying thresholds in weather and fuel conditions. This work supports the development of science-based prescribed burning guidelines that balance biodiversity conservation with wildfire risk reduction.
I study the interactions between fire behavior, fuel properties, and meteorological conditions, and actively participate in research related to prescribed burns conducted in Sweden.
I warmly welcome opportunities for collaboration and discussion, particularly in the fields of forest management and fire ecology.
