Research
Sphingomonas are frequently found in various common or unique environments. It is known that many Sphingomonas carry diverse amounts of native plasmids. During my PhD, I aim to explore how these plasmids are related to Sphingomonas adaptability. Besides, I am also trying to understand how biotic and abiotic environments impact the plasmid profile of Sphingomonas at both the population and single-cell levels.
