As a newly admitted student at SLU, whether enrolled in a programme or in freestanding courses, use the checklist for important information to prepare for your arrival in Sweden and your studies.

If an admitted student decides not to accept their place on a course or programme, SLU will contact the person with the lowest reserve number on the waiting list. SLU calls waiting list applicants in strict order of rotation from each selection group.

Orientation programme and roll-call

For students admitted to the Autumn Semester 2026, select your study location below.

Attending the roll call is mandatory and takes place 31 August. The orientation programme is held the week before and is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Sweden and studying at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
