Are you curious about who you will be studying with? With Goin', you can reach out to other future students and start building a community even before you arrive at SLU.

What is Goin'?

Goin’ is a social network for new international students at SLU. You can connect with other students, find out who you will be studying with, help each other prepare for your move to Sweden, and build your own community ahead of your studies.

 

On Goin', you can:

  • Meet students with shared interests and hobbies
  • Connect with future classmates from your study programme
  • Reach out to fellow students from your home country
  • Join groups to find housing or get help preparing for your studies
  • Make friends before moving to Sweden


Who can join Goin'?

Goin' is available to all newly admitted and exchange students in SLU’s bachelor's and master's programmes. It is also accessible to current students in these programmes.

 

How does it work?

As a newly admitted student, you’ll get a personal email invitation to join Goin’. Once you’re in, just download the app, sign up, and create your profile to start connecting with your future classmates!

If you’re an international student admitted for the autumn semester 2026, your invitation will arrive at the beginning of April.
