SLU Aquaculture is a platform to promote and coordinate aquaculture research and education at SLU. Aquaculture-related research is taking place at all four faculties at SLU.
The vice chancellor has given the platform, SLU Aquaculture, the mission and funding to promote and coordinate aquaculture research and education at SLU.
- to consolidate and develop aquaculture research and education at SLU,
- to strengthen the interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination of research, education and environmental analysis within aquaculture at SLU,
- to visualise SLU's aquaculture activities internally and externally.
The platform is led by a steering committee with representatives from all four faculties, with the VH faculty as organizationally responsible.
