Leys are grown on more than one million hectares in Sweden, making them the most common crop in the country. Forage crops are mainly used in milk- and meat production. Our field trials focus on cropping systems to produce the highest quality feed possible for cattle, horses, and other livestock.
If you want to participate in the forage crops theme group meetings, you are most welcome to contact the chairperson and/or the secretary:
- Chairperson: David Parsons, SLU
- Vice chairperson: Boel Sandström, SLU
- Secretary: Ola Hallin, Hushållningssällskapet (The Rural Economy and Agricultural Societies) Sjuhärad.
