At the Department of Clinical Sciences, we mainly teach students in the veterinary and veterinary nursing programs, and also offer courses in the master's program Veterinary Nursing as well as continuing education for physiotherapists for eligibility to work in animal health care.

The Veterinary Nursing programme is suitable for those interested in animals, medicine, science, people and sustainable food supply, and who want to study issues related to animal health, animal and infection control and optimized food production.

The animal nursing program is for those who enjoy contact with people and their pets, who want to be able to work under their own responsibility in the care of sick animals, anesthetize and assist in surgery, be responsible for the rehabilitation of animals after injuries and provide advice on issues related to animal care.

For physiotherapists, we offer stand-alone courses in animal care at advanced (master's) level, to enable you to fulfill the Swedish Board of Agriculture's requirements for eligibility to work in animal health care.

We also run a summer clinic for European exchange students.
