Information for speakers and poster presenters

Speakers

To help you prepare your contributions, please note the following presentation formats:

  • Invited speakers: 20 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Other oral presentations: 10 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for discussion.

Poster presentations

In addition, we are pleased to offer colleagues who submitted a poster the opportunity to give a 2-minute speed talk with 2–3 slides to briefly introduce their work to all participants. More detailed discussion and exchange will take place during the dedicated poster session.

Poster size: A0 (portrait orientation is recommended).

Please plan your presentations accordingly to help us keep to the programme and allow sufficient time for discussion and exchange.  Make sure to contact the organisers and upload your presentation in good time before your presentation.

Conference topics

  • The working group of the International Organization for Biological Control (IOBC) on Integrated Control in Oilseed Crops (ICOC) will bring together the latest advances in: 
  • Biological and integrated control of oilseed crops from research and development to commercialisation and practical implementation
  • Development of sustainable oilseed crop production systems to minimize pesticide use while maintaining yields  
  • Genetic and biotechnical approaches to pest and pathogen control in oilseed crops 
  • New methods and strategies in research and development on integrated control of insect pests and pathogens in oilseed crops
