Forest products

A systems perspective is of utmost importance in analyses of forest production systems. Life cycle analyses of such systems often focus on climate impacts. For the analyses to be fair, emissions from 1. the forest and forest land, 2. the processes in the value chain, 3. the storage of carbon in forest products and 4. the substitution of fossil-based products normally need to be included. We work both on analysing existing forest production and on studying future management systems and how they can be designed to reduce global warming.
