Our research
We primarily focus on terrestrial environments and cultural landscapes, such as forests, infrastructure, agricultural landscapes, and mountain regions. Our sphere of interest also includes policy, implementation, planning, and use of natural resources related to the management of these areas. We often collaborate with central authorities on specific research assignments or participate as experts—sometimes on behalf of the government—in international negotiations on biodiversity.
