The Sustainable Agri-Food System Intelligence - Science-Policy Interface (SASI-SPi)
The Sustainable Agri-Food System Intelligence - Science-Policy Interface (SASI-SPi) project is a five year initiative started in 2023 funded by the EU.
SASi-SPi builds on the Food Systems Assessment Initiative (FSA) launched by the European Union (EU), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the International Cooperation Centre of Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD).
SASI-SPi produces rapid intelligence on demand from the European commission, thematic studies, dedicated collaborative work towards sustainable transformation of food systems in three pilot countries Colombia, Sierra leone and Bhutan and communication for development.
Partners of SASI-SPi are, apart from SLU who leads the project, Agrinatura, FAO, Cirad, ICRA and Instituto superior de Agronomia University of Lisboa.
