Marisol Sanchez-Garcia

Marisol Sanchez-Garcia
I am broadly interested on the diversity and evolution of fungi. I use phylogenies, comparative methods and genomic analyses to understand how different traits have evolved and how they affect species diversification. My current research aims to elucidate the evolutionary origins and diversification of symbiotic fungal lineages and understand how symbiotic associations have shaped fungal genomes.
