Karin Jonsell

I am a communications officer at SLU Future Food, a strategic platform that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthens the societal impact of SLU, and facilitates partnerships for a resilient and sustainable food system.

I hold a PhD but have worked for many years as a professional communicator and coordinator, both in Sweden and abroad. At SLU Future Food, I organise events of all sizes – from webinars to round-table discussions and conferences. I contribute to our science for policy activities, for example by producing policy briefs together with researchers, and also provide strategic advice. In addition, I work on layout and graphic design, web publishing, press releases and social media content whenever time allows.
