Research
I study human impacts on freshwater ecosystems, as well as actions that could minimise these impacts or help ecosystems recover. Aquatic invertebrates and primary producers are the main groups I use to look at my study systems. At the moment I am focussing on the effect of fish farms on lake littoral zones and I'll be researching ways to rehabilitate shallow habitats in lakes impacted by water level fluctuation.
